This Friday at Nintendo World 2006, Nintendo will give us the first look at a new character or characters in a new trailer. Sonic anyone? The trailer is suppose to show this new character with in-game footage. Hopefully the game is really coming along nicely and maybe we will get a little more info on it and it’s online features, hell maybe even a release date. As soon as it’s released Friday we will have it up for you all to see.

If you saw the Sunday ads you may have noticed that Target has advertised the new slim silver PS2. Same functionality same design different color is all really. But the shiney silver does look very cool. The system comes with a silver controller, silver PS2 and included like it’s black counterpart is the built in ethernet port. It will retail for $129.99 MSRP. If you haven’t made the jump to PS2 yet or if your PS2 has broken down for the ?teenth time then why not?

A member of the ChinaGBA forum has posted many pictures of the Sixaxis and its innards. It is quite an analysis; in this post, even the outside of the controller is compared to the PS2 controller. One thing many have noticed is that the “non-user-replaceable” battery is much like the “non-user-replaceable” battery in the iPod; it can be easily replaced, as long as you are comfortable with taking the device apart.
I took Joystiq’s lead and have posted the link that goes through Google Translation. So, enjoy the wonderful translations.
The latest episode of IGN Weekly Episode 30 features a 10 minute walkthrough of the Nintendo Wii interface. Although the interface isn’t final in the development system they have all the options are there just not all of the channels. The options are very interesting, it’s definately worth a look. Here are just a few screens from the video.
